Ahoy, mates! Dean here. Welcome to the blog of our EuroTour adventures to Europe! Our passage will begin with a flight out of charming and customer-friendly Mitchell Field in Milwaukee. From there we’ll fly to the possibly apocryphally smelly Newark airport for a lengthy layover before we take off once more for Germany. On to Festival Maritim where we’re the opening act! Three days of Teutonic Pelagic Minstrelry and . . . well, our itinerary is published elsewhere in our many web pages, a link which is located nearby.
We were interviewed at our rehearsal last night by a reporter from the Grayslake, Illinois newspaper, the column to appear this week. We’ll be looking for it! I personally emailed a reminder about our trip (with a link to the PRWeb release) to The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, The Chicago Tribune, The Chicago Sun-Times, the Daily Herald, Newsweek, US News and World Report (you owe us one Mr. Camarow!) and Time Magazine. Plus a handful of online places including various newsgroups, etc. (If any of them fail to publish something about this trip feel free to write to them and accuse them of being un-American!)
Please check back here often and we would love to hear from all of you!
Fair winds!
“Cap’n Jake”

Ahoy Dean! Good luck to all of you on your trip!
Ahoy Bounding Main,
Good luck on your trip. May you all experience a safe and successful trip. Cheryl and I will miss your performances when we head up to Bristol later this month. Next to seeing Chris and Molly, your performances are the main reason we fight the traffic and construction to go to the Faire. Obviously, you’ll be in our thoughts and prayers. Enjoy, be safe, and listen to Wohlers–he did a pretty good job keeping Chris and Molly’s wedding party out of trouble.
Always yours,
Larry “Uncle Lar” Maka
Bon Voyage Bounding Main! Luckily for Gina, you don’t have to actually sail to Germany. I am sure you will wow them overseas as you have wowed us. Will be watching for blog entries and pictures. Have a really great time.
Here’s wishing safe travels to all of you!
And as an old pirate might say…
